Hi, we’re PSY/OPS, and we build typefaces all day long — and occasionally all night long. Our primary commissions are for tech giants and manufacturers, game developers and print publishers, as well as other foundries and design firms. We also love teaming up on more personal / experimental / academic projects. The quirkier and more challenging the better. Between client engagements, we work on fonts for our own ecclectic library.

P22 Type Foundry is dedicated to producing quality fonts and related products. Our goal is to present historical materials in a contemporary, relevant form. By doing so, we make great art and design accessible to every level of computer user. Our research and design teams are committed to developing typefaces which are not available anywhere else. P22 works closely with museums and foundations toward the development of historically and aesthetically accurate products. Each font set is uniquely packaged with background information on its source and inspiration. We hope you enjoy our fonts and we welcome your input.

HypeForType was founded by designer and art director, Alex Haigh. It’s a long-term labour of love, amongst many things, but it’s also the embodiment of the ideal that you should do what you love, trust your instincts, and persevere. Fuelled by a long-term obsession for type, Alex’s design career accelerated rapidly, from his first Junior Designer role fresh out of college, to a freelance Senior Designer position at the universally admired agency AKQA, all within the space of two years. Exposure to the most talented people in their fields at AKQA is where the roots of HypeForType formed for Alex, working late until the early hours of the morning on a “typographic side project” would eventually form what is now known today as HypeForType.

Born in the USSR‭, ‬Yanek Iontef moved to Israel at the age of 16‭ ‬and studied graphic design at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design‭,‬‭ ‬Jerusalem‭. ‬He worked as a graphic designer in London and Tel Aviv‭. ‬Since 1995‭ ‬he has taught typography and type design at the Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem and Shenkar College of Engineering and Design in Ramat Gan‭. ‬He currently works in Tel Aviv as a freelance designer specializing in type design‭, ‬corporate identity and editorial design‭. ‬An award-winning type designer‭, ‬he also has‭ ‬his own type foundry‭ (‬FONTEF‭), ‬producing a range of Hebrew and Latin fonts‭.
