libtholoura is a text-image distortion library, which is useful for sites that want to ensure that a human (and not a bot) is viewing pages. It is optimized to produce images of strings distorted in a way that makes it impossible for an OCR to read, but humans can. The glyphs will be automatically indexed by Unicode or with a user-selected charset order. The bitmap font can then be converted to an outline font like TTF or OpenType font.

FontForge is an outline font editor that lets you create your own Postscript, TrueType, OpenType, CID-keyed, multi-master, CFF, SVG, and bitmap (BDF) fonts, or edit existing ones. It also lets you convert one format to another, and has support for many Macintosh font formats.
